Owner/President David Doswell holds a bachelor’s degree in Aquaculture and Fishery Management, from Sparsholt College Hampshire, Winchester, United Kingdom. Following fish college, he moved to The Palmetto State to manage a 150-acre koi and goldfish farm for a leading aquatic company. Having handled literally millions of fish, he has extensive knowledge and a great deal of experience with koi and goldfish. In 2012, David decided to start his own fish farm, with the goal of producing high-quality fish for South Carolinians and beyond. Palmetto Koi and Goldfish are in Lugoff, SC on 20 acres nestled in the Salt Pond Community. David spends his days tending to the fish growing on the farm to ensure they are of the best quality for his customers. David hopes to build relationships with other fish-loving people by sharing his knowledge and extensive experience in fish and pond management. David is married to a native South Carolinian, Becca. They live on the farm with their cocker spaniel, Charlie.
